「We booked a two-night stay at The Montagu Arms to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, so this was a special occasion for us. I would first like to say that every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and professional throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself fell well below our expectations. 「Sadly the hotel did not meet our expectations. The first room we were allocated had mold round the windows and in the bathroom and it smelt funny. The staff were very good and gave us a new room but it still wasn't great. It is possible that we were just in the old part of the hotel - if so, avoid low number rooms. Breakfast was good and location nice.」
