Apartment 43m2 sea view

It is one of the oldest houses in Altea. It is divided into different apartments / suites. It is totally reformed. The suite consists of 2 divided rooms. In one you have the balcony with table and chairs, bathroom and bed. In the other room you have the dressing room and a small kitchen to prepare breakfast. It is located in the old town, close to all the restaurants but in a street with little traffic to sleep. The beach is a 7 minute walk. There is a free parking 5 minutes from the house.

Mixed feelings!

I was a solo traveller. The owners do not live locally so there is no personal contact. There is also no Welcome Pack giving necessary information. I had to ask the people in the Bistro Cafe for help to even get into the apartment and flooded the bedroom because of the shower door which could have been avoided with better communication. Having said that the bed is comfortable and en-suite is modern. There are radiators that weren’t on and an electric radiator. The living space is well equipped for hot snacks via the microwave. I found it poorly lit in December/January. There is everything you need here - you just have to hunt for it. The apartment is on the second floor, literally a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the old town. About 6/7 minutes walk from the sea front up a very steep hill.
