「This is a fantastic get away don't expect Wi-Fi or luxury this is as far as getting to be a crofter as you will get, stone floors log fire beautiful scenery, although you do have electric so there are heaters but it is very comfy no TV and of course no shower but their is a bath. I loved it the wife loved it and so did the dog we definitely hope to go back. 」

「The Northern Lights cottage is perfectly located for exploring Scotland's central north coast. The cottage looks out over Talmine Bay, the Rabbit Islands, and the North Sea beyond. Skinnet Beach is just down the hill, a short walk away. The house is lovely with a large, well-equipped modern kitchen and two newly renovated baths, both with good showers. I would definitely stay here again.」

「On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car.」

「Zuerst waren wir etwas von der abseitige Lage des Hauses und der Siedlung in Rispond. Nach Betreten der Ferienwohnung waren wir aber sehr angenehm überrascht. Leider kamen wir fast nie ins Netz, um Kontakt mit zu Hause in Deutschland aufzunehmen. Der Gastgeber, der uns persönlich begrüßte war sehr freundlich und erklärte uns alles. Wer Natur und Ruhe schätzt, der ist hier richtig. Zudem ist man in wenigen Minuten in Durness.」

「Property is conveniently situated with spectacular views overlooking Tongue bay. Orkney and on really clear day Shetland as well. Hosts are very welcoming and the welcome hamper is a nice touch (very good coffee). All in all a great time was had by ourselves.」
