"We stayed at this hotel as part of our driving trip to Europe . The reception is abit weird to find with us walking through the kitchen walkthrough area . Staff were pleasant booking us in . Our room was on the first floor and the room was very pleasant with modern decor and furnishings . Not sure I’m a fan on the low wooden beds as great for hitting your shins on . The bathroom whilst clean was dated and out of keeping with the room decor . The shower was over the bath . We decided to eat at the hotel and this was a real highlight as the food was fabulous although the chap in charge needs to smile more and be more friendly in people enquire if they have a English menu rather than a curt no . We managed to work it out with Google translate . As much as the meal itself was great it was spoiled for me however by the prevalence of mosquitoes that despite my spray still managed to bite me. I guess this was due to the hotel being by a lake . Breakfast was great and both the lady running this and the 2 young cleaners we spoke to were very friendly . For me the mosquitoes was a big issue as I react badly to them so I probably wouldn’t return . "
