Gîte du Pigeonnier with private heated swimming pool and air conditioning

A unique, unique and air-conditioned gîte in this property 15 minutes from Carcassonne reserved for adults and children over 12 years old. It is not overlooked in a natural environment, with a 3000 m² park. The swimming pool is heated from May 1st to October 15th and covered by a sliding shelter allowing swimming from April 1st to October 31st. The unique and isolated site offers beautiful moments of calm, conducive to rest with the guarantee of swimming whatever the weather and without another family disturbing your rhythm. Dogs ok with other dogs and cats are allowed with the owner's agreement.
It is also possible to arrive by plane in Carcassonne since its airport is served by RYANAIR.
In the village of Alzonne you will find all shops less than a kilometer away (bakery, butcher, pharmacy and supermarket) and a small market on Thursday mornings.
On site you will have quality garden furniture and furniture, sun loungers and wooden solarium terrace, shaded areas and parking on the property.
The cottage includes a living room with a dining area with a large table and 6 chairs, as well as a TV and DVD area with a sofa, chairs and a coffee table.
Between the two spaces, the bar area opens onto a kitchen equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and hood communicating with an outbuilding offering washing machine, WC and hand basin.
Upstairs is a master suite with a bedroom including a 160x200 bed and wardrobe with chest separated by sliding doors, a 90x190 bed. A bathroom with 2 sinks and 170x90 Italian shower and a separate WC.
A second bedroom with balcony has a 140x190 bed. On the 2nd floor the dovecote offers a lounge area with bench seat and 90 and a desk. Former pigeon nests will offer you reading times or books for all ages are at your disposal. For your comfort, a 3° attic room with skylight will offer you a 180x200 bed that can be separated into two 90x200 beds plus another 90x200 bed with shower room with WC in the room.

Nos vacances dans le gîte d'Anne et Frédéric
Cette location correspond parfaitement à sa description. Le gîte est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et est très chaleureux. La piscine est très bien entretenue et il est très agréable d'y flâner toute une journée ou entre deux excursions dans cette belle région qui a tant à offrir. Le plus est la présence chaleureuse (sans être intrusive) des propriétaires Anne et Frederic (sans oublier la chienne Cannelle). Ils nous ont donné plein de conseils de visites et nous étions toujours contents de leur raconter notre journée, comme en famille. Bref c'est l'endroit parfait pour se ressourcer mais aussi découvrir Carcassonne et sa region.

Excellent!
Le Pigeonnier was perfect for our purpose: relaxation in a beautiful rural setting. Surrounded by vineyards and a floral garden, the pool is a highlight. This property is clean and well maintained. Our hosts were delightful and went out of their way to assist us. It was close enough to the village that we could do our morning jaunt to the bakery by bicycle. It is close to a supermarket also. We all enjoyed swimming and al fresco dining very much. Plenty of rooms and beds, so everyone can have as little or as much privacy as they like. The countryside is ripe for exploration by bicycle, and the location is a great jumping off point for a day trip to the medieval castle at Carcassonne.

Lovely Gite surrounded by vineyards
An imposing property containing a spacious gite of character with all modern conveniences. A rural location surrounded by vineyards but just a few minutes from the town with supermarket and restaurants. Very well equipped with everything you need. Comfortable seating in lounge, modern kitchen appliances, and a dining area. Master bedroom spacious and large bed comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. Two shower rooms. Spotlessly clean and air conditioning in upstairs bedrooms. Lovely pool with plenty of outside furniture to relax in. Owners very welcoming and on site if needed but otherwise discrete.

Beautiful house
This is a gorgeous house with plenty of space. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The decor is lovely and the beds are comfortable. The aircon in the bedrooms works very well and although there isn't aircon downstairs we didn't feel we needed it. There is plenty of outside space too. The pool area is great and very private. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. It is great to have them onsite but they never imposed. Well situated for visiting Carcassone. A very peaceful location.
