“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. “Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. We were given a $35 voucher to another cafe for the morning that the Element was closed. We stayed three nights. Our room was very quiet and we enjoyed our King bed. Shower and bath. There is no……

“Very nice place to stay. Staff was very nice; the room was nicely done as far as looks and cleanliness. The shower tub had a lower entry which is great for older adults. Confrontable king size bed. Short walk to downtown Sutter Creek. Safe area for walking. No need to Uber for a ride. It has a gym and a bar. Although we did not check out the bar. ”

“We were in Room 220. The door was ajar when we got there. The carpet was wet. The light by the door was very dim. I went to turn on the light by the bed and the nob to turn the switch was broken. The other lights in the room was for the bathroom sink and the toilet/tub area. I took the lamp from the bed area to the front desk and asked for another. There were none available. Maintenance came by about 10 minutes later with a lamp for the bedside and he noticed we did not have a desk lamp. He came……
