「We stayed here for 2 nights during the June heat wave. The property was interesting, in that it is a bunch of “cottages” that are connected like triplex. There is a pool and laundry facilities on site. Our cottage was clean, and efficient. The only drawback was no air conditioning. With the bedroom upstairs, it was unbearable. We ended up bringing the mattresses downstairs to sleep. Having the pool was fantastic. The location was handy for exploring the beautiful area.」

「We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos du Chateau. Our room was clean with good A/C considering we were there during an intense heatwave. Caroline prepared a beautiful breakfast every morning with fresh breads and homemade jams and spreads. She was also very helpful in advising us where to visit and we were never disappointed with her suggestion. If you’re visiting Amboise, which is truly beautiful, we advise staying at Le Clos du Chateau which is perfectly located to enjoy this adorable old town,」

The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station.」
