「We had a great stay at the farmhouse at Peaks of Otter Winery in Bedford, VA! My husband & I needed rest and relaxation and the stay at Elmo's Rest farmhouse did not disappoint!! It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

「We appreciated the spaciousness. The host responded to requests immediately. We appreciated their hospitality.」

「My family & I LOVED this home! It was so peaceful & relaxing; we really hated to leave actually. Our host, Randy, seems to have thought of everything when he built this home to make it comfortable with a lot of extra details for convenience. The pool was wonderful; we used it every day. I would highly recommend staying here.」

「We booked this property for a weekend stay. Flew up from Florida. At check in time still hadn't heard from owner. Messaged and tried to call multiple times over the next 4 hours. VRBO support was unable to help. Only ended up going to the house because the owner called as VRBO was cancelling the reservation. House has double beds, not queen. House has one bathroom in the kitchen, not 2. Power went out for hours one day along with the water and the heat. Woke up to people working in the orchard...

「The Country Farmhouse was a place of rustic charm and tranquility. All you hear is the sound of the breeze, the cows, birds, and the brook. Our visit to the area exposed us to both history and agriculture. The farmhouse certainly further illustrated that. All the work done to refresh this home years back has kept it's original luster. You will not be disappointed to stay here- only delighted. 」

「The Hen House was charming and the location was perfect for exploring Wintergreen and the Nelson 151. The host was excellent- very accommodating! 」

「Wonderful house for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked. The pool was perfect and used constantly by the children. The fire pit was conveniently located with lots of seating. The wrap around porch was a bonus location with all the chairs and rockers.」
