"All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere."

"TV not in great position. We both banged our heads , Room 3. Otherwise excellent Breakfast- more fruit options would be better, but it was good overall. I'd move it to the larger room dinner was provided. It felt a bit closed in with only about 6-7 tables. Staff always attentive and helpful."

Cottage is small but warm, plenty of outdoor space in the garden to let the dog out.
