The hotel room had a decently sized personal bathroom and a small balcony area. There was no A.C. but a fan that made the room temperature nice. The hotel has an elevator which helped me get my luggage up to my room. In the lobby was free water, coffee, and tea. I didn't take advantage of the paid breakfast due to my schedule. The staff was really friendly and answered any questions I had about checking in/out. There was some construction right outside of the hotel but the noise wasn't a bother. The hotel had great security as well, requiring your room key to get into the building. I would stay here in the future, since the location was very good for visiting many of the museums and Vondelpark.

We had a great stay at Hotel Alexander. The location is excellent, with tram and bus stops just a short walk away, and many of Amsterdam’s attractions can easily be reached on foot. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning, only a fan, but this wasn’t an issue for us because the window opens, making the room pleasant even on warmer days. A special thank you to the staff, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They answered all our questions and gave us useful recommendations. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee and drinking water available to guests throughout the day. Our only small suggestion would be to add a shelf or cabinet in the bathroom for toiletries and personal items. The towels were also a little worn and could be replaced. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

3 star hotel with 5 star service, the staff made you feel special and always went beyond their normal duty to help in any way. They help us with a taxi service to and from the airport which was a good price. They kept our luggage safe as we had an evening flight. they were always happy and greeted you with a smile. We came as guest but left as friends. We are definitely coming back. The hotel is also in a perfect location to everything. Thank you

The hotel is located in a great area for walking to all the sites or the tram but a bit away from the chaos of the city center. It’s an older building with lots of charm and the staff is always willing to help. Family of 4 adults fit in a cozy room with 4 beds. Fresh coffee and tea always available downstairs. Lovely stay!
