Very welcoming staff. There are steep stairs at the entrance but our bags were carried up for us. Good location for exploring central Amsterdam. Great Italian restaurant on the corner and a supermarket nearby.

My first stay in a euro hotel. Stairs from street level exceeded 40, we tight and precarious. Tiny rooms, bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff we kind and helpful. I was just surprised in the logistics of entering and getting large luggage up to our room

The staff were very attentive and helpful, especially the cat in the lobby! The building was a bit old, and so were the rooms, but we had already seen that in the photos before booking, so it was exactly what we expected. However, it was perfectly adequate and comfortable for sleeping. In addition, the location was very convenient and close to everything.

The owner has a cat and my husband was allergic to the cat. Paid for three nights, only stayed one night because of the cat. We should have been informed about the cat. The hotel said no pets allowed, so we assumed we would not have to worry about cats. We paid almost $200USD per night and were only given back $95.00USD, so we lost $300.00 USD. We also were told the room had a safe and there was not a safe.

Room was clean, staff was ok. The biggest plus was the location, we walked everywhere. For just a bed in the city centre consider this option. The rooms are very small and the stairs are crazy but overall it was a good stay!
