"Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Couch had stains on it and bathroom is ok. Shower is outdated. Bar is very good. Staff great. Drink selections great. Center bar is our favorite. Food is very good."

"Clean hotel. But noisy and hard to sleep. Very little or no noise dampening insulation between floors and rooms. You shouldn't be able to hear the guy next door urinate in his toilet or hear his phone vibrate. The room doors slam shut and would wake the dead. "

"Parking was fine in front of the building. The food met our needs. But when we booked Expedia showed that allowed cats and dogs and this Windgate is Steubenville OH did take cats in Dec 2025 when we stayed there. but I called the day prior to our reservation, and they said they did not take cats since things have changed. They only take dogs now. It was to late to book with someone else so we had to scramble to find someone to take our cat. after going back and forth with Wingate they called the third party and Expedia change their information to only dogs. no good "

"The room was big with very comfortable beds. The shower had great water pressure and was easy to use. The lobby was spacious and welcoming and the work out room was equipped with everything I needed."

"There was bed bugs in my room and didn’t find them until I woke up the morning of my leaving! SICK and they didn’t even offer me a refund.. it was wild!! Breakfast though was amazing wide variety of stuff…"

"The only thing in the room that was clean was the bed, had a jacuzzi tub room and I had to clean it before it could be used, none of the surfaces were clean, we had only 2 towels 1 washcloth and no hand towels, when we got to the room the door was open and the phone did not work. This was our second stay within around a months time and I was very disappointed this time around. Breakfast was fine, no cream cheese option or peanut butter. However when I got back to the room with my food my key wouldn't work I had to leave my food at the end of the hall on a window seal to go back down to have a new key made. "
