"Just about everything in Rapa Nui (including much of the water) needs to be brought by boat or plane from Chile and often from farther afield. As a result, things are used and repaired until they fall apart. This shows in some areas of the hotel. If you take that into consideration, this hotel is very well run. We appreciated the suggestions and help from the staff, as well as the free transfer to and from the airport."

"Overall, a great place to stay. Wonderful hosts. So very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to stay that saved a lot of money. The view from the patio is wonderful. A couple of little nitpicks. There's no air conditioning so on hot nights the windows need to stay open to catch the sea breeze. Unfortunately the windows are unscreened so some mosquitos do get in. It's an easy walk to the ocean and multiple great restaurants with sunset views One of the things I like to do is visit very remote islands so I've had lots to compare and this is a lovely place with great people."
