"Wow! What a privilege to stay in a one of a kind architecturally amazing home overlooking the Douro River. João, our host, helped us navigate our way to the home and welcomed us with chocolate, wine and kindness.The accommodations lacked nothing. "Amazing hotel with stunning view! We arrived a bit late due to flight delay and the staff was helpful with our late check-in. The room is very spacious with a beautiful valley view. Breakfast served in a pinic basket to the room everyday is definitely a highlight, all the food is very fresh and amount is generous. Will definitely recommend."

"When we arrived at the property, Carmen and her lovely dogs welcomed us with open arms. It's located about 30 minutes from Porto and if you seek for peace and quit it's the best place to stay. The huge garden is so adorable. We enjoyed it a lot. Carmen is a very open-minded and friendly host. We will come back for sure. :-)"
