The staff was prompt and detailed with check-in process and rules for using the property. However, we never found anyone in the office during on two cosecutive days at around 10 am.
The property was easy to find, located conveniently across from a terrific steak house.
The hot tub located under a gazebo on the property is an asset.we used it and enjoyed it.
However, there is nothing "Deluxe" about this "deluxe" accommodation. It is very basic and very run down. The furniture, bare minimum provided, the area rugs, throw pillow, etc., are so old and well worn that the place felt unclean even though it was apparent that the propery owners had been meticulous to provide clean accommodation.The window blind in the bedroom did not work. The shower handle was loose. The shower curtain rod fell down when we draped a wet towel on it. There was hardly any place to hang our wet jackets dry, and it rains a lot in Alaska in September. The living room/kitchen combo is more like a mudroom. There isnt even much room to shake the dirt off the boots when you walk in the front door!
The radiant floor heating worked well. But the speed control of the ceiling fans were flaky. There is no stovetop in this "deluxe" room, but electric griddle and microwave oven are provided.
The bed is verycomfortable.
The property owners have taken a lot of liberty with their property description.
