"Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything about this rural quaint chalet is well thought about. From the beautiful french linen to very tasteful rustic decor. Secure location with gated drive. There was a wood burn hot tub which we didn't use, due to our schedule. Incredibly clean, well appointed and comfortable. Peaceful. The local village is only a 5 mins walk down the hill. "Absolutely wonderful ! We received such a warm welcome from Elena, Florent & little Leon and very soon felt like we were 'entre amis'. They looked after us so well, making sure we had everything we needed. The setting is gorgeous - Nature, wildlife and peace. The animals of Domaine FlorEl were a real highlight & brought a lot of joy! The house was clean & spacious, beautifully historic & kept cool in the August heat (a definite bonus!) "Simply outstanding! We were very lucky with the weather so made use of the outside space which is stunning Lots of tables and chairs to use on a deck grass area and small patio. Views over the valley and lake to die for and the bird song all day long was gorgeous! Very private and quiet and to top it all an incredible swimming pool! This is simply a place you have to stay in as the pictures on line don’t do the place any justice at all! "

"Owners were charming and friendly however the accommodation was quite the worst we have ever seen. Most of the work seemed to have been done as DIY but to appallingly low standards. Whilst efforts had been made to decorate no cleaning seemed to have been carried out. The cooker hob was still soiled from previous use and all light switches were unclean. Interior of drawers in kitchen were soiled and in our opinion thus unfit for use. Whilst the shower was effective, because of poor finishing it...
