DOCK HOLIDAY is the perfect home for family and friend gatherings. *** please note - 18 guests is the maximum occupancy at all times. This 3,100 square foot home is our family vacation home as well. We love it, and love sharing our space with other families and groups of friends to make wonderful memories together as we have. Our home includes 6 water view bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 2 open concept living spaces, and a large kitchen area that can accommodate large groups under one roof which is difficult to find on Lake Hartwell.

There is ample parking for numerous guests (and boat trailers). Our home is located directly across from Sadlers Creek State Park and its wide boat ramp. In addition, the property is located only 7 miles from Green Pond Landing and its Bassmasters and Bass Angler tournaments.

The lakeside of the home includes a row of windows so that the lake can be seen from many vantage points.

Everything is on one level and includes wide hallways. As such, it is a very friendly home for guests with ambulatory challenges.

The home includes a well-appointed kitchen with plenty of prep space and two full-size refrigerators.

Guests will be able to watch TV (YouTubeTV provided) from two separate living areas (e.g., kids and adults) and wifi is available throughout the house and on the back patio.

The back yard is one of the largest, cleared field spaces you will find on the lake. In addition, the very gentle slope lends itself well to a variety of games and activities (not to mention the included horseshoe pits). There is over 250 feet of water frontage on this property.

The dock is available for you to park your own watercraft, or one from a local rental agency. We also have a 2021 Godfrey pontoon boat that is 21', has a 115 hp motor and capacity for 11 people that may be available for rental (not included in pricing). We may have our boat parked in the covered slip (as in the photos), but the dock is still large enough to tie up other boats. A perfectly situated property for sunset views make this location among the most desirable on the lake. Local fishing charters are available. Not only is fishing and recreation on Lake Hartwell unmatched during the summer, the lake also been ranked as one of the top winter fishing destinations in the country.

We are very close to Stone Creek Cove golf course and only 4 miles from The Oaks, Evergreen wedding venue and Huitt Farms wedding venues.

Guests travel only 22 miles to and from Clemson Football games and graduations while avoiding the main thoroughfares.

We are located approximately 50 minutes from downtown Greenville SC

2 hours from Atlanta GA

1 hour from Commerce GA (Tanger Outlets).

An hour and 10 minutes from Table Rock State Park or Oconee State park if you like hiking in the mountains.

Sadlers Creek State park is across the waterway, or 4 miles by car, with biking and hiking trails.

Chattooga River is approximately an hour away on which you can do white water rafting.

The home is privately owned and managed. We look forward to providing an exceptional getaway for your group.

We love our lake vacations. This is our 3rd trip to this property so we obviously love it. The owners thought of everything! It’s roomy and stocked. Great view of lake and there’s no extra charge for the beautiful sunsets.

Dock Holiday is an awesome lake house on Lake Hartwell. Our family loved our time there. We played hard all day on the lake and enjoyed the evening view from the back porch. Great stay!

Our group of 11 friends have been getting together annually for many years. In recent years, we've stayed at different VRBOs, all of which were very good, but we were unanimously agreed that this VRBO is our favorite. Lots of bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, all on one floor (i.e., no stairs), and lots of gathering space inside and outside including down at the dock on the lakeshore. We definitely plan to come back !

Peaceful lake oasis

We loved how the house has two living spaces so baby could be put down and others still be up. We love the pool table and Pac-Man machine as well as cLoseness to state park and canoes. Our family was just there for long weekend but ready to come for the week. What lovely owners as well. Could ask for great getaway spot. Very family friendly. Huge back yard!!

Great Place to spend a weekend!

This home was amazing and the perfect spot to host our family gathering. With everything being on one floor, it was perfect for our older family members and the game room was a perfect fit for our teenagers. Everyone had a great time!

Another fun week at Dock Holiday

This was a repeat stay at this location. House and property provided lots of fun for my extended family. Teens and young adults had a blast inside, on the lawn, and off the dock. Lake Hartwell is beautiful. Thanks again, Shawn.

Most relaxing

Our stay was very relaxing. The house was perfect for our large family. There were enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone, which is very hard to find. Our owner was very easy to get in touch with and was very attentive to our emails. We will be staying at this location again when our family can get together.

phenomenal house and great for large groups or rehnions

We had friends come into SC from all over and this house was a perfect meeting spot.The dock is great for multiple boats and the huge backyard is great for kids and yard games. Plenty of spacious bedrooms, kirchen and tv/living rooms tied everything together for large crowds. My only criticism is we didn’t stay a fourth night so we’ll just have to do it again.

Phenomenal Spring Break

First and foremost, Shawn was a fabulous host. Very prompt to messages prior to and during our stay. Dock Holiday was a dream come true for us. The house provided such great separation, younger group on one side, matured group on the opposite. The boat dock and kayaks created a bond without devices for the younger generation in which we all thoroughly enjoyed. This home has created so many memories that we’ll cherish forever. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back!

Great Space for Large Family

We had a wonderful weekend at Dock Holiday. Shawn and her husband were wonderful hosts. She responded quickly regarding any questions we had before, during and after our stay. The house and property are a great space for a larger family. It was very clean and well stocked; the ice maker was awesome. In the evening everyone enjoyed playing pool, shuffleboard and games. We rented the pontoon boot for the weekend; it was great to arrive, and it was waiting for us to enjoy. Check in and check out was a breeze. A wonderful weekend was had by our group of 14! We would definitely consider renting this house again.

Family Vacation

This place was perfect! We had a large family gathering with adults, kids, and pets and it fit all of our needs. A lot of space for everyone to have the flexibility to be together but split off if needed. The ice machine was a nice surprise. Tons of games, loads of towels, more dishes than expected, tvs worked great, plenty of seating outside to enjoy the lake view. They had cornhole boards, fishing gear, life jackets and lake gear. The dock was great and we rented a boat for the week. We did some morning walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed seeing wild deer and the local horses, goats, and cows. Walmart was less than 20 minutes so we could easily stock up on groceries. Would definitely recommend this place. Owner was great at responding when we messaged. Hoping to stay again in the future!

Fabulous Stay at Dock Holiday

Our large family enjoyed the roominess of the house and lake activities. We took in the view of every sunset from the large dock. The home is well-stocked with comfortable furniture, two refrigerators, a stand alone ice machine, games including a pool table and an assortment of board games. The glass windows and doors allow for a gorgeous lake view. All was clean and neat when we arrived. Parking is ample - we had 4 cars at any given time. We all agreed we would return if we have the opportunity. There were so many great places to visit :Forx Farm (best butter ever), Goat Farm, Richardsons Day Lillies, Botanical Gardens (Clemson). As far as food: The Pompous Pig, and the Local Pub and Eatery were excellent places to eat when we didnt prepare our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The host communicates promptly and is available if you have any needs.

Golf Girls Trip

Stay at Doc Holiday was great. More than enough room for 9 senior ladies on a golf trip to the Anderson area. Highly reccomend this for anyone wanting a wonderful place to stay on Lake Hartwell
