"The property looks nice. My problem was with Hotels.com. The listing appeared on Hotels.com, but actually originates on another platform. We arrived 10 PM in pouring rain (a tornado touched down 6 miles away) and found it occupied. The reservation company (40 minutes and 6 phone calls later) said the credit card did not clear, and "we emailed you in December". "I absolutely loved this hotel!!! Everything was outstanding! My jaw dropped when I drove up to it and even more when I entered the lobby! This is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel from both the outside and the inside lobby and room!! It is immaculately clean and exceptionally well taken care of! The front desk staff were outstanding in their friendliness and with their assistance! The gentleman, I believe his name is Jeffery, on the night I arrived was the part of the reason I even found the hotel after a long drive from Brandon, MS. He gave me excellent directions when I realized that I didn't know where I was going and went too far towards Joplin. When I arrived he was very courtesy and we had a wonderful chat that I will never forget about the hotel history and the history of the owners that was fascinating since I am a history lover. The lady on the front desk in the morning was also very friendly and helpful in giving me directions. This hotel is so appealing I wish I could go back that way just to stay there again. The room was gorgeous with a glass enclosed shower with a rain head and a great bed! The lobby has a beautiful fireplace just as you come through the sliding glass doors into this massive grand lobby with this gorgeous front desk area off to the side. The casino area had a restaurant that was open late so I could grab a grilled cheese before heading to my room (very delicious too) which was wonderful since I didn't have time to stop for supper on my way!"

"The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was also very good and had a variety of food for people to choose from. We got into the Neosho area very late and had difficulty finding the hotel because the sign is not very big and it is not very well lit. It was difficult to find a way into the parking lot. Also, the king size bed was very comfortable but it was very high from the floor and was difficult to get onto. Because I am short, I had to use a stool to climb up to it. Just some minor things."

Room smelled terrible, bathroom faucet leaked which left standing water on vanity and the door deadbolt wouldn’t retract making it difficult to lock room from the hallway side. 2-night stay but room wasn’t cleaned. Not up to Marriott standards! "

"Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Manageable size property with a very welcoming lobby space. I wish there were coffee/tea makers in the rooms, as the coffee shop on the ground floor closes mid-afternoon. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Will definitely recommend for anyone visiting Bentonville."
