“Overall stay was nice. A few amenities lacking that we are used to when we book through VRBO. Ie there was no spare toilet paper. There was no coffee filters for coffee maker. Other wise it was very clean and nice.”

“Great space. Beautiful views. Communication with manager not great for check in. They didnt provide garage codes to get in. We were checking in when it was dark. We walked up a steep hill with rocks not knowing how to access the front door. The only other way to access is through front door which is not accessible with a car. Delay getting in. Once they provided garage codes we were good. You will need to carry luggage up two flights of stairs or walk your luggage all the way around to the front……

“My sisters and I had a great weekend here. Very peaceful and with lovely views. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms are spacious! The hot tub was a great bonus. The only caution would be the driveway—very steep, so be prepared. Great communication with the host, too!”

“The floating boat house is in a wonderful location and has everything you need for a peaceful get away on beautiful Norris lake. The owners do a wonderful job decorating and providing a kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Very clean and comfortable. We rented a pontoon from Straight Creek Marina and they were very nice and accommodating as well. We absolutely loved our time at “Our Happy Place””

“Many issues stated in previous reviews are unresolved. Smoke alarms are missing, expired fire extinguisher, poor quality cookware, substandard furniture. The bunk bed in the basement is unusable for two people because it is not sturdy. The gas grill caught on fire because of all the residual grease and the grease tray ended up dropping out of the grill due to its poor condition. “This property does not disappoint at all. It was so accommodating for our entire family. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed. We loved every minute of our stay. Walk out the door to the left and see the Sunsphere and Worlds Fair Park and UT, go to the right and walk towards the market area, or towards the river and South Knoxville. “The house was beautiful and property was very private, this was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Beds were comfortable, they provided plenty of beach towels, kayaks, and firewood (to be replaced if you used some). There are no houses across the lake, so you have an unobstructed view of the lake. “Hillside Haven is a cozy cottage tucked into the property's back lot. It's a very cute cottage, updated nicely and is very clean. Full kitchen with nice pots and pans and kitchen supplies.
