“Bathroom outside in front screen room, freezing, hundreds of bugs, whole neighborhood can see you using tiny bathroom, not enough hot water for shower, have to unlock front door to use the outhouse. Cobwebs up walls everywhere, filthy dust balls and dog hairs all over floors plus sand. Have to bring your own water, zero house supplies, furniture disgusting cobwebs/dust and wall decor. Back screen room beautiful view, great back and lake but huge huge spiders drop down from eves and screens have……

“A little piece of paradise on earth. What a beautiful and relaxing spot to enjoy nature and spend some time away. Birdwatching, canoeing, sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and enjoying the sunset in the evening. We hope to return to this awesome and very private spot.”

“We realized there was no air-conditioning. The owners told us to open the living room windows. It was unbearable in there. Why couldn't they have "cooled" it off and air it out before our arrival? But the worst: upstairs where the beds were THE WINDOWS DIDN'T OPEN. It was old, not charming in the least bit. Smelly, dark and, well, they at least had a note about the hole in the floor so we were lucky and didn't fall through the floor.”

“From the start, my thoughts were that all the important things were done to perfection. The house was ideal for my husband, 11 year old son (but 2 kids would have been fine), me, and our pup. The coffee was so good that I plan to buy my own. the towels and linens were bright white and fluffy. There were fresh dog treats and even some humans treats left for us.
