Stay in Annapolis MD

Over-all the house met our needs. It was clean, had adequate number of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. There were a few issues that were brought to the hosts attention, such as: Needs a broom & dust pan, needs additional towels and washcloths, needs kitchen towels and dish cloths, oven mitts, additional coat hangers, edges on carpet in hallway were curled up and posed a trip hazard and that the deck could use a table and additional comfortable chairs.

Host/Management--- HUGE disappointment.

We have very mixed reviews about this house, but we really tried to like it. I've included below an explanation of our communication with the host, accessibility to the kitchen and TV's, major safety hazards and failing aesthetics. This house is an older split foyer home that has been renovated to maximize space but you can see where they failed to go the extra mile to make it an enjoyable experience. We came into town to stay at this rental house which was about 10 minutes from our family home (currently being renovated). We knew we would be at this rental house for nearly two weeks, so we purchased food and brought it to this house to cook our meals. Upon arrival, they had: a single skillet, very little silverware, one knife, 8 plates, 4 bowls, a small cutting board and mugs. Yes, that's it. We immediately contacted the host explaining that we were living at the property for two weeks and needed items for us to cook on, serve on and use. We were met with immediate resistance and told that the oven and stove was provided but the items to utilize the stove or oven was an “amenity” and that it was not offered. With constant communication and explanations, I made it clear that we needed these items, because we have a fridge and freezer filled with perishable items with the expectation that we rented this house with a fully functional and working kitchen. Unlike any other rental, if a full kitchen is listed with the appropriate appliances, the rental should have the basic

Nice home in quiet residential area.

Home was purchased in January 2024. It was flipped. Host says all new beds. Seemed that way. Different types, though. Covered porch was nice but chairs out there were uncomfortable. Not many kitchen amenities. But the house is up for sale. Nice home for more people. It was only two of us and we really didn’t use the home much. We only slept there. Was a nice price for the area. Close to downtown Annapolis and our friends who live close by.
