The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. “We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon……

“The listing said there was not an elevator but was not expecting the unit to be on a second level. They were proactive advising as it was off season there were limited restaurants open. The hot water wasn’t working but they immediately took care of the issue and were very attentive to this issue. All necessary items were available in the kitchen. ”

“One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. ”
