“Well maintained home with plenty of space. Sunrise and moonrises were spectacular. Decent grocery shopping in Calibishie but the best store we found was Savers Enterprise in Portsmouth. Safety & privacy were excellent. The house is sited in a way that no one can see and there is no other property "looking down" on you. Gweneth (mgr) told us the do's on dont's for safety at check in and Chris (owner) was very responsive to all inquiries.”

“This property is a tranquil retreat in the middle of a forest and adjacent next to a beautiful river that we all loved swimming in! The owners had many great suggestions of things to see and fo nearby, great places to eat, and places to go for this being our second trip to Portsmouth so we had too much to do and lived it all! Our only regret was that we didn’t have more nights here!”

“This spacious place, with three ample bedrooms, was stocked to the max with amenities, down to a well provisioned Keurig coffee with all the canisters, soaps and shampoos, kids' books and games, first aid kit, laundry room, internet, hot shower systems, canned goods, condiments - all for (responsible) guest use - but best of all were the unbeatable view overlooking Hodges Bay and the fresh sea wind (the place can also be sealed and air conditioned if desired). “Das Blue Whale Villa Penthouse ist eine super schöne Unterkunft mit grosser Terrasse und eigenem Jacuzzi. Nick ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er gibt Tipps für Aktivitäten, organisierte ein BBQ und ist sehr offen für Feedbacks. In Calibishie gibt es nur einige kleine Mini-Marts, deshalb besser bereits in Rosseau einkaufen. Die Umgebung ist eher verschlafen, aber ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um den Noeden zu erkunden.”

“This place is amazing. The building is huge. There is so much room. It had everything that we could want and Ginnette responses to any questions very quickly. The site is lovely with a gorgeous view of the rainforest and beautiful plants and flowers. The porch is also gigantic with amazing views and breezes. This is where we spent all of our time. “La location nous a fortement étonné, nous nous attendions (selon la description faite dans l'annonce) à un logement proche de la mer. Or il faut prendre un chemin très hasardeux, rempli de trous divers et en terre, qui nous emmène dans la montagne. Le chauffeur de taxi était furieux. Le logement en lui-même n'était pas vraiment propre, gras sur les plans de travail, les lits qui grinçaient, beaucoup de bruits avec la climatisation, fenêtres qui ne s'ouvraient pas pour aérer d'où une odeur de……

“Waw! Words can't express our experience at the two oceans villa, one must go and experiece for ones self. The children loved it! It was a good distance getting there but upon arriving we instantly felt at home. Having a rental is a must! Nathan the villa manager, was an excellent host, there only when you need him. Got to speak with the owners briefly and they seem to be as lovely as the home itself. Definitely a 5 star 🌟. We will be back. ”

“The room was superb. The pool is excellent. There is one restaurant for breakfast with a buffet, and one restaurant for dinner. It did not have everything on the menu, and I found it pricey, although the food was good. Service was very slow, although I didn't mind - I wasn't in a hurry. No beach!”

“Beautiful site on a cove facing the Atlantic. The staff are great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Leatherback turtles nest in the cove and the staff work with a conservation group to facilitate turtle watching. Excellent place to base our visit in Dominica.”
