Very pretty location, lovely view of lake and stupas. Attractive property and nice furnishings. There is one restaurant you can walk to, but it is too far to walk to the town; however taxis are always available.

From the moment we arrive at the reception until the conclusion of their trip, the hotel's team demonstrates exceptional training in providing top-notch service to us. An excellent hotel!!!
The hotel is in an amazing location- right next to a massive lake! We just stayed for one night, but very soon felt that we should have stayed longer to really enjoy the hotel! The only glitch was that the water pressure in the bathroom was low, and the washbasin drained rather slowly.

Very nice, obliging staff. My room could have done with a refreshing, but it had a spacious terrace with lovely lake view. On balance, a nice place to stay.

Best location in Anuradapura. Situated on the edge of Tisa Wewa It has Kandalama vibe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food. We would definitely vist again.

The lake is gorgeous; sunrise and sunset over the lake specially. Food was great at the hotel restaurant, the service was great.

Very sadly our visit to The Lake Forest was not a good experience. Lovely bedrooms- but no hot water in the bathrooms which of course we reported to the Reception staff shortly after our arrival- to no avail!! We reported the 'no hot water issue' again to recoption the folliwing mirning- sadly again absolutely no resolve to the Problem. Very disappointing food- the hitel menu offers a lot which in reality the hotel does not deliver. The breakfast was the poorest we have been offered in our travels in Sri Lanka- with very sadly leaderless and rather apathetic staff. The Lake Forest Hotel needs a SHAKE UP.

Nice stay in Lake Forest Anuradhapura
We had a very comfortable stay in the Lake Forest Hotel. Cleanliness is excellent. It is located near a big lake in very natural setting. Staff is very polite.
