“Wir hatten zu viert einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in der schönen Villa Asteria von Samantha und Jerry! Die acht Tage waren eigentlich zu wenig! Das Haus liegt im wunderbar ruhigen Bergdorf Melidoni, direkt angrenzend an eine reizvolle Landschaft mit Olivenbäumen, Johannisbrotbäumen, Schafen. Hinter dem Haus hat man die hohen kretischen Berge im Blick, vor dem Haus sieht man das Meer, konkret: die Bucht von Souda. Es weht auch an heißen Tagen eine angenehme, leichte Brise. Das Haus ist nach alten……

“Lovely villa in a beautiful location, close to nearby towns & beaches. The property itself cannot be faulted and the listing is accurate. The only negative that we were impacted by is the local 'quiet hours' that we were blissfully unaware of before arrival. Apparently, 15:00-17:30 is a time of the day when the locals want quietness...this was communicated only by finding an unsigned note stuck to the gate on the first morning there. Subsequently, 2 children playing together in the private pool……

Michael and his family really excelled when we needed a few days extra accommodation at the end of our booked stay, due to a crisis in our family. The villa is further from the town centre than we anticipated, involving walking along a fairly busy road with no footpath. In all other aspects it was a lovely location”
