Checking in
The property was fine, not much room but it was cozy. I think less decoration would be better. Check in however was not good. Host forgot we were coming and the place was not ready, we had to wait to get in. Was around an hour late getting in.

2 night break
Helpful owner, heater provided to take the chill off. Property did smell a bit damp when returning from a day out and the towels also smelt a little. We think this was probably down to the time of year because we visited out of season. It’s was also bad weather with almost continual rain.

Yes it was raining cats and dogs the whole visit .We provide an air purifier and a very efficient heater.We wash our towels and linens in organic zum and boost it with baking soda .We are just 5 blocks from the ocean and 10 minutes from the forest .It is an incredibly beautiful area when the weather allows exploration , which is most of the time.

Serene getaway
Checkin was effortless. Bryana met me at the door. The space was super comfortable, quiet and serene. Just what I needed. I slept better than I do at home. I highly recommend this place.

Zen Garden
Upon arrival we were greeted by our friendly hosts. They are so helpful, and informative about the area. We had great conversations. It's iin a nice nighborhood. Close to the ocean. We hiked in the Redwood Forest, not too far away. Perfect for a couples romantic getaway or for one person . I like how they had all natural products such as hand soap ,shampoo/ conditioner dish soap etc. Even aromatherapy. And an infrared sauna.

Seascape Garden Studio offered all that it promised for my two quiet, personal retreat days. The double sliding doors that lead to this charming, meticulously appointed unit open onto a charming and luxuriant little private garden in which to meditate or dine al fresco, replete with visiting hummingbirds and softly tinkling wind chimes. Everything I needed was within easy reach--comfy bed, fully equipped kitchenette, and large bathroom with walk-in shower, all meticulously clean and welcoming. Special touches included a very quiet refrigerator and air purifier, and an aromatherapy diffuser in the bathroom. If you're sensitive to scents, you should let your hosts know, as there was some scentedness to the linens and in the air. This property is ideally situated, just a few blocks walk to restaurants and a food market and a short drive to great beaches. Bryana and Mohan are ideal hosts, seeing to my needs without being intrusive. The unit is part of their house, so I did hear some ambient noise, but they considerately postponed a dinner party when I mentioned that I would be quietly retreating. I fully enjoyed my stay and hope to return.

We are so heartened when our little touches are noted .The aromatherapy is organic lemon grass .Usually I use Zum laundry deterrent but tried ecos lavender this once.I am going back to Zum.

Great location
Was perfect for our trip! Very quaint neighborhood and close to Santa Cruz and Monterey. The owners were very nice! We were checking in very late and they were so gracious to make the guest bed all ready for my 6 year old who was so travel weary. Highly recommend!

Bryana, our host, was lovely and very accomodating. The room is very welcoming and peaceful. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds. The beach is a short walk away. Great location!

Our stay in Aptos.
The place was well located and had all the amenities listed. Overall was in good condition. Easy to enter and leave when the stay was over. Some intrusion of noise from other parts of the house could be disturbing. We would seriously staying there again when in the area.

We just love the easy access to nature just minutes from our home . The ocean is five blocks away and so is Seascape resort where many magnificent weddings take place . We make every effort to be respectful given that the room is part of our house. There is a private entrance and private patio garden that we lovingly tend to.

Beautiful, peaceful, and. healing environment
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The home is peaceful and beautifully decorated. Immaculately clean and organized. The private patio is filled with succulents and a cute cafe table. We were warmly welcomed by the host. The room has a private entrance and large bathroom. Location is within walking distance to the beach. It was a wonderful experience. We will definitely return.

Friendly hosts
Bryana and her husband Mohan were very friendly and helpful when we arrived. They checked on us when we had a power surge to make sure we were okay too. The space was small, just a bedroom and attached bathroom with a small kitchenette built into a shallow closet. Would be nice for a couple. The outdoor space looked nice but it was raining when we were there so we didn't get a chance to use it.

great little studio
the neighborhood was very quiet and clean. would have preferred a little more character in the neighborhood. the space is well appointed and you can feel the love and care they put into hosting. there is a little outdoor area/patio, which was nice. it would be awesome if that space was less cluttered and more usable.

We love our neighborhood as it is 5 blocks from the beach.There is a market that has everything you need and Julie even makes breakfast burritos and entree's ,soups and salmon..There is a Chinese take out place a pizza joint and Mexican restaurant with a view of the bay . Our Patio has a lot of plants though there is a table and chairs so you can spend time out there. We did move some plants so gues can practice Yoga outside. on the patio.

We do genuinely care about or guests. Bryana gives massage and cold laser treatments by appointment and has lots of great reviews .We fee so blessed to live by the beach and the forest .

Great hosts and space!
We had a great time renting from Bryanna and Molin! So many fun things in the space and such a beautiful garden. We especially enjoyed the musical wind chimes and the spacious bathroom. Be aware that there is no T-Mobile service in the unit and that internet is via Ethernet (no wifi). Otherwise this is a great place to stay with great hosts at a great price!

Not relaxing at all
My whole reason for booking this place was to have a relaxing and quiet mom-getaway, but I left in the middle of my first night there because it was anything BUT relaxing. The little time I was there I could hear the owners above me talking, loud footsteps, creaking of the floors, noise from anytime their water above ran or toilets flushed, and what sounded like furniture moving across the floor constantly. Definitely not conducive to a relaxing peaceful and quiet atmosphere being connected to the main house. And even though some may find it relaxing, I couldn’t even keep the door open to enjoy the nice coastal breeze because the chimes above were so very loud and intense. Wish I could have gotten at least a partial refund since I didn’t even stay one night out of the 3 nights I booked. As for cleanliness, it could have been cleaner. There were dirty dishes when I arrived, the shower had mold, and the whole place including linens smelled mildewy. Would not recommend staying here.

We enjoy opening our home to travelers and make much effort to accommodate their needs. The room is a master bedroom that opens onto a patio garden which is lovingly cared for. We have the room cleaned professionally and also by us personally.We use organic detergent that is unscented or lightly scented with essential oils.The space is located 5 blocks from the beach in a suburban coastal neighborhood.It is attached to our home but has a private entrance. There is some ambient noise at times .We want to have harmony with our guests and act accordingly. We also run a Dr Air purifier 24/7 in the room. There is a large bathroom that we clean with orange oil and bleach in shower . We take pride in our home and ask that perspective guests look at other reviews .

Great little place
We had a great time at this place, quiet, clean and cozy. Loved the outdoor area, too. There is no stove, but the induction hot plate is very effective and we had no trouble cooking for ourselves. The only issue we had was that our cell phone (T-Mobile) did not get a signal, and there is no Wifi on site. The hosts offered use of an ethernet cable, which did not work with our Macbook. In a way it was nice to unplug for a few days, but be prepared to do that or drive towards the highway to get a signal.

Yes it is true that T-Mobile is not available on our street.It is available a few blocks away . AT&T. and Verizon work great.We offer ethernet connection which is far more reliable than a Wi-Fi connection . However we do have connectors that convert ethernet to USB .We have had no problems connecting to PC's and some Mac books.We are doing further investigation into compatibility connections. It is also true that we are located 5 blocks from beautiful Seascape beach and Resort.It is a ten minute drive to Nisene Marks Redwood forest. We also offer streaming amazon and Netflix . We strive to make our place provide a welcoming environment for all our guests.

We had a wonderful time during our short escape for the weekend! The place has everything you need for a short stay, was clean, the garden is lovely, private and quiet, saw hummingbirds there. Great location! We enjoy the lovely beach, huge and peaceful, 10 min walk from the property, live music Saturday night and good vibe at South Point Seascape restaurantVisiting Nisene Marks State Park is highly recommended!

The owners greeted me upon arrival and they were super! Loved the private garden/patio entrance…beautiful! The studio was clean and comfortable! Wouldn’t go to a hotel after this stay. Five minutes walking to beach, grocery store, liquor store and restaurants. I was traveling alone and I felt very very safe in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Excellent hostes, good location
The room was a studio apartment with a large shower and the basics of home. Beach towels were provided, the bed was comfortable and the pillows and bedding were cozy. I did no wake up with a sore back. The cute and cozy garden was a great location to soak up some tranquility the flowers were beautiful and offered privacy. I loved opening up the shower window and looking outside while I showered and nobody could see in. She had plenty of thoughtful touches on the property. I would highly recommend this and plan on coming back in the future. It's a queen bed but she also has a rollaway if you needed another bed. So it would be perfect for 3. We stayed two nights and wished we would have done that instead of a hotel prior We had two camp fires on the beach we brought our own wood and a lighter in town. Seascape beach offered us beautiful sunsets

Cozy and Perfect Location!
I took my 17 year old daughter and my 22 year old son to the ocean for the first time. This cozy room was central to everywhere we wanted to go, the Seascape beach, Santa Cruz and Monterey. It was like our home away from home. The Mystic Garden was peaceful and I enjoyed seeing hummingbirds. Bryana is awesome!

Friendly Hosts
The property was as advertised. It was quite nice with a California vibe about it. The private garden is awesome although we didn't get to use it too much with the cooler weather and our busy schedule. Next time we'll have our breakfast out there and and fully enjoy it.

The property was absolutely beautiful, warm, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed there and no issues. Beaches, hiking trails, and necessities were super close. Great location for beach lovers
Ideal location for a mini break - easy to get to the beach and cute local beach towns by car. Peaceful, and calm atmosphere , everything you might need for a short stay away from home along with friendly ,helpful hosts. The little breakfast nook outside surrounded by plants and sunshine was an added bonus!
