"Some reviews say that the rooms are small and too warm in early autumn. This was not our experience. The room we took was massive - so too the bathroom. The hotel was exceptionally located and easy (very inexpensive) to park. A fantastic experience in a lively area of La Rochelle "

"Met by a lovely receptionist who came out to help with luggage. Room good size and cleaned to high standard Breakfast was a fabulous contintal with freahly squeezed orange juice. All staff extremelly helpful and offered good advice on where to visit and eat!"

"Right by the harbour in La Rochelle. Great for trying a range of bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel with great staff who are extremely helpful. Hotel has a lovely pool area, quite unusual for the centre of La Rochelle. Hotel has a section of a nearby car park which is very secure. You'll need to check in at the hotel before accessing the parking, we would have appreciated that information beforehand. Would definitely stay there again when in La Rochelle. "

"The parking was the only difficulty - finding the actual car park, and organising the parking permit. Better info should have been sent via Hotels,com. Staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, and dealt with all other issues effectively."

"The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price. Nice, central location , but a little removed from the noisiness of the bustling downtown area, which was a plus. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. When I needed anything or had questions, that’s who I would ask because front desk staff (all three that were there during our stay) were not very helpful or friendly, bordering on downright rude. "
