One of the most accessible ski hotel/residences we have ever stayed at. The carpets to the learner slopes are no more than 30 paces from the boot room door. The property has lifts to and from the ski school, the boot room lockers are enormous (plenty of room for helmets, boots, gloves, skis, poles - all heated) The spa facilities are also super accessible from the lifts with robes and slippers in each room. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we were in the residence but the drinks menu and lobby bar were excellent.

2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was brilliant. Close to the beginner slopes, lifts, and shops/bars/restaurants. The apartment itself was fab, spacious, clean, with great facilities and a balcony with amazing views of the mountains. The ski in ski out exceeded expectations with locked storage cupboards per apartment and heated rails. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely recommend and will return.

Still half finished and not managed very well.

We stayed here last year very shortly after it opened so found some of the half-finished aspects amusing and forgave some of the disorganised management... But a year on, sort it out! Bits of the outside of the building are missing with cladding hanging off and insulation poking out (keep your eyes closed when you arrive to avoid immediate disappointment). Lifts still not working. Poorly managed estate, no attempts made to clear snow. Icy entrance flooded and frozen, no rubber mats for guests entrance, amusing though it was to watch the chuckle brothers attempt to resolve the issue though. Dead christmas trees dumped everywhere. Fire alarm was shambolically dealt with. Checkout mayhem, with 2 stresses ladies on reception. It's a real shame as the location is amazing and the rooms, once you've run the icy gauntlet to get there, are spacious, modern and well equipped. We still had a great time, but this is an honest review so others can not be disappointed or if they are going to get upset by these things.... Some simple fixes and guests could be blown away with the experience.

Dejlig central beliggenhed i skiterrænet og samtidig lige i byen. Store nye lejligheder i moderne stil med store lækre altaner. Lækkert, stort spa område med udsigt til bjergene - der er dog kun en bruser. Kæmpe opvarmet skikælder, der dog ligger i kælder, hvor man skal en etage op ad stejl betontrappe for at komme ud på pisten.

Great stay for family

Amazing stay - penthouse apartment with incredible views and incredible space. Lovely staff. Building is right on the slopes. Pool and spa area lovely after a day of skiing. Well equipped gym. And a playroom. A few mins walk to restaurants and supermarket. Worked well for a family with skiers and non skiers (and a toddler). Could do with a few more hooks for the various towels and bathrobes!

Résidence de standing très confortable

Un séjour à 2 très reposant. La résidence Alhéna est tout confort, notamment la piscine et l'espace détente (hammam, jacuzzi, sauna, bain nordique). Les appartements sont très joliment décorés et meublés, et très bien agencés. A recommander sans hésiter pour un séjour l'été à Flaine

Our recent stay at Residence Alhena in Flaine was truly unforgettable. As a family of five, we found the hotel's location directly on the ski slopes incredibly convenient. It made getting out on the slopes each day hassle-free and allowed us to maximize our skiing time. The apartment itself was immaculate and stylish, reflecting a modern yet cozy mountain charm that made us feel right at home. The space was well-suited to accommodate our family, providing both comfort and functionality. After long days of skiing, we thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in the hotel's amenities. The pool was a hit with the kids, and the sauna was the perfect retreat for the adults to relax and rejuvenate. What stood out the most was the thoughtful layout of the apartment and the attention to detail in every aspect of our accommodation. The staff at Residen Alhena were also very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Overall, Residen Alhena offers an ideal mix of prime location, exceptional facilities, and luxurious comfort, making it a top choice for families looking for a ski holiday in Flaine.
