We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean! We all slept well in the cozy beds.The hot tub was a delight after our days of beach walking and exploring the fun shops in Cannon Beach.Even though the home is near the highway we weren’t bothered by traffic sounds. I’d recommend this home to anyone wanting a sweet beach house to rent. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Quiet

Perfect place that is close to local areas to explore on day trips. Having the beach just a couple blocks away was wonderful for beach access. Clean, quiet and just right for a family vacation.

I hesitate to review this home because...

We'd love to keep it all to ourselves. We love staying here so much - this is our third stay at this rental, with our first in 2014. We have so many amazing memories of our winter getaways here as a family, like our home away from home. Our now teens even look forward to hunkering down here, away from friends and video games. The hot tub and their own rooms make it easier as does a quick walk to the beach and into town.

Dreamy

Our stay was so perfect and we loved the home so much. The location was outside of the touristy areas and a block from a beautiful beach full of shells and sand dollars. We loved the mid-century modern decor and style of the house along with all the amenities. Fully stocked with everything you would need. The hot tub was wonderful, we all enjoyed it as well as the back patio and green space. The only thing (which we knew before our stay) was that the home is right on the corner of the 101, it is landscaped nicely to hide it, but there is traffic noise. At night, it was pretty quiet and you could still hear the ocean so we were happy about that! We literally would come back and stay in a flash!

Super Cute Arch Cape Cottage

The house is super cute! Perfect for group of 6, we only 3 adults in our group and it was very spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need to cook. Loved the electric tea kettle! Linens, towels and make-up rags were good quality, thick and soft! Bed's were comfy. On a clear day you can see the ocean (over the houses and power lines. I wished the house was closer to the ocean, I should have read the description better. However, its easy to access the highway and close to town. Fireplace was wonderful! Due to rain, we did not get to enjoy the deck, hot tub, or fire pit but loved the lights in the trees and over the deck. House does sit right off the highway and you do hear the traffic noise. If you are sensitive to noise, this would not be your place. It didn't bother us, so we were fine. I booked through AvantStay and did ask several questions about the booking and house. Most of the my questions were answered timely. If the opportunity came along again, I would definitely book this home. It is charming and well kept.
