“Beautiful hotel, very serene but still with close access to main villages and beaches. The pool is amazing and the breakfast picnic basket every morning was a real highlight. Dimitris, the hotel manager, was very accommodating and all of the staff were lovely.”

“Absolutely loved the Lighthouse Hotel. Perched on the top of a hill with a gorgeous sea view and a lovely seating area to enjoy the view. Just a few minutes drive from Faros Beach, which is a small village with gorgeous restaurants (we went to Angie’s and it was delicious). Anthony, one of the owners, couldn’t have been more helpful. He made great recommendations and helped us to book restaurants and bars to ensure we got a table. The breakfast was also lovely, Maria made lots of homemade……

“This so called villa was dirty , not well kept. No air conditioning. The property was dangerous to drive to. It was out of the way and near a heli port. The location noted on Expedia of Platis Yialos was not accurate. It was no where near it. The villa requested we wire transfer the funds to hold the property months before so there would be no recourse. We left and found rooms elsewhere. Terrible. Lost out deposit of 130o. Euros. The villa requested about 3000 euros for five days……

“Lovely place to stay! Close to everything, right across from a very nice public beach. Tiny bit of a language barrier with the host, but easy work around with Google translate!! Excellent value for the money. Highly recommend!”

“Maria was a delightful hostess. Easy to communicate with and great for local information. The villa was perfect. Quiet and had all the necessities and more, including easy parking. Still an easy walk to restaurants if you didn't want to cook. After a busy day touring a nice little retreat to the alfresco area for a beverage and relax. Highly recommend”

“Tiny room, not able to open 2 suitcases. Arrogant staff, overpriced beach services. Sun beds was made available fron 07.00-13.30 at 30 EUR and from 13.30-19.00 for 50 EUR. I.e. Not possible to rent for a day. Very few sun beds so this stay ay a mediocre hotel became very expensive. We were scammed in the restaurant, paid by card 120 EUR, after pin code they claimed that transaction did no go through, even though I showed it on the Mastercard app. Ended in a conflict, and I had to pay also……
