Great Swedish food!
The food feels home-made rather than restaurant-like, in the most positive way. Perfect if you feel like eating good, healthy, quality food.
The place is cozy in the common areas, and the couple running the place is really nice and friendly. They seem very eager to fulfill whatever special wishes you may have.
The rooms are quite basic as seen on the pictures. No surprises, but expect nothing else. One can easily hear people walking in the corridors, so perhaps it is a problem if you want to sleep in when everybody else is going for breakfast, although I was never disturbed to be honest.
Location is good for cross-country skiing (1km) and downhill in Duved (500m). Shops and restaurants in the near area as well. If you look for social life in bars, you need to go to Åre though.
I recommend anyone who values good food and cozy evenings after skiing/day activities to visit this place. If you want a nice hotel-like private room, you should look for something else.
I would be happy to visit again if I come back to Duved/Åre!

Perfect: simple and great
Very nice hosts, Eva and Peter are lovely. Very discreet, yet very attentive to my needs, this pension was perfect for my solo stay there. Very good food made by Eva, she takes time to explain the menu, fireplace at night...simple pension with a very friendly atmosphere. I would return.

Mycket trevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpsamma. Gratis skjuts till backen på morgonen. Fin bastu att koppla av i efter en dag i backen.
