2/10 Terrible

"Well I stayed there from Sunday threw Friday. And the fire alarm goes off 2 to 3 times every evening all hrs threw the night usually the last fire alarm you hear is midnight till 1am in the morning when it goes off. I will not stay there for business again. If you want peace and quiet thats definitely not the hotel. When I asked the front desk why the alarm keeps on going off he told me is because people taking showers sets the alarm off. What a joke never again I will stay there."

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Middleton - Madison West

"The location was good. Not too far from downtown Madison but not in the boonies either. Lots of food and shopping nearby. Middleton is charming and the proximity to the Mustard Museum was definitely appreciated. - The hotel itself left much to be desired: The staff wasn’t very personable. Not rude or unfriendly in any way, just didn’t seem very hospitable. They did their job, nothing more. - We specifically wanted a hotel with a hot tub and I even called BEFORE booking to make sure theirs was in working order… it was not. The pool was decent (clean, warm-ish) but we were very disappointed. The towels in the pool area were also very thin and scratchy. - The breakfast was bad. Watery eggs, barely warm & not at all browned sausages, rock-hard butter, and very limited fruit and bread/bagel/muffin options. Waffles were the standard for these hotel chains and were decent. - The worst thing about our stay was how dirty the floors were in the rooms. We had 2 adjoining rooms and both of them had floors that were sticky and literally turned the bottoms of your feet black if you made the mistake of walking around without shoes on. I assumed incorrectly that not having carpet would mean the floors would be cleaner since that type of material isn’t absorbent and can be cleaned better and more often but I was wrong. Honestly, I was disgusted. Won’t be going back and will probably avoid staying at Country Inns in the future."
