“Nice house and a fantastic garden. Cortona is a great place. The house wasn't very clean and the Air-Con is available but doesn't really cool the bed rooms upstairs on hot summer days. It's too expensive for what it is.”

“The house was perfect for our group of 12p. Three separate apartments with a big room with kitchen in the center. Very nice pool. Good surroundings and 5min walk to a grocery store. Great place for short and long excursions… But the best was Alessio, the guy that runs the place. He is a star and solved a lot of problems for us. Thank You Alessio❤️”

“Our stay at this house surpassed all our expectations. Everything was very clean and well stocked with many little amenities and personal touches. The grounds have the most amazing views, especially in springtime. Mrs Rossella was a most gracious host. She was attentive to any of our needs. We had a wonderful experience with a chef as well. The hosts recommended her, and our dinner was unique and delicious! We will definitely come back to this house and would recommend it to anyone.”

“Villa Gagnoni is a well restored authentic Tuscan farmhouse in a superb, tranquil "away from it all" natural setting. It is an excellent, well located base for exploring central Tuscany with many of the top attractions anywhere from a short drive to an easy day trip away. The nearby village of Lucignano is charming. The quality of the architectural restoration is of a high standard. The furnishings include some impressive antique sideboards and wardrobes and is otherwise comfortably……

Das Häuschen ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gemütlich, der Pool fantastisch und Asciano ist ideal gelegen, um die Toskana zu erkunden (Florenz, Siena, Arezzo, Pienza, Val d‘Orcia). Linda und ihre Familie sind super nett und waren immer ansprechbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!”

“We were group of 16 adults and three children under the age of three. Sonja and Diego could not have been better hosts! They are truly lovely people! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is stunning and very child friendly! We opted to have Sonja cook breakfast and dinner for us each day, and her food was absolutely delicious! You must try their pizza and bbq! We enjoyed the tennis court, feeding the horses, and day trips to Siena, Florence, and Montepulciano. The villa location is……

“Great house and landscape with everythung you can wish for. Enough rooms, space, terraces, outside area... even a Pizza oven that is tested and approved! With only a few tweeks regarding the Pool size, up to date furniture and kitchen facilities it would become a real diamond. In the current state 4/5 Stars with a mid-range price/quality ratio. Great help, support and overall customer experience with the agency+owner.”

“We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. Each of our five guests (two couples, one single!) had their own floor and bathroom. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, drank wine while watching the sunrise on the patio, and were transported to the past walking……

The property manager is extremely responsive and helpful, and went as far as stocking groceries prior to our arrival and preparing dinner for us the first night. “Comfortable and well maintained house overviewing the entire valley. Lovely terras with grill. Large swimming pool reachable via stairs. Quiet location, about 10/15 minutes to the nearest grocery store and butcher. You definitely need a car. We would love to come back in future. Nice places to visit within max 1 hr drive are Perugia (30 min), Cortona (45 min), Gubbio ( 1 hr). Lake Transimeno only 35 min away. Warm welcome by Philip and Madeline both speeking perfectly English.”

“Enjoyed 10 relaxing days at Villa Montisi, a very clean and comfortable property with a lovely pool and garden. Also an excellent base to explore the local towns and stunning scenery (with Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Siena all within easy reach) and to enjoy the wonderful food and wine the region has to offer. “Mauro and Vanessa are the kindest and beautiful hosts . they made us feel like long lost cousins . The home was immaculate and the views are amazing Sitting outside watching the sunset with a glass of wine was our favorite part of the vacation. “The villa was lovely, and our property manager was very attentive. The villa itself was very comfortable, bedrooms were clean and neat. The bathrooms were adequate with clean towels and great hot water. The kitchen was well equipped, definitely could use a larger coffee pot. The outdoor space is beautiful, the pool is well maintained.There is a washer but no dryer.The property is a bit remote, on the side of a mountain you need to drive everywhere. The house was not equipped with flashlights or……

“We just finished our holiday at this villa with 2 other couples for 10 days, and we had an incredible stay! The Villa is beautifully restored with modern bathrooms, great kitchen, pizza oven, and beautifully furnished. The Villa is very private but only a short distance to town with shopping and lovely little restaurants. The amazing towns of Assisi, Sienna, Orvieto, Cortona, Montepulchiano, etc are all very easy drives. Beautiful pool. And the pizza oven works great…we did a pizza night and had……

“Have stayed in area before, but not Cortona. We were taken around the property by Nonna and her grandson. A great team. They bogg live on siteNonna was attentive but not intrusive, and always left us tomatoes and basil from her garden, but spoke no english - more of a comment about us than her as it would have been great to talk to her more fully. A lovely lady. Stefano was great as translator, go to guy for info - taxi firms, air con specialists, bar to watch womens footy final! Etc A great……

“I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house and its host Stefano. The 3 bedroom 2 bath house was perfect for my family of 5. As soon as we walked in, my kids eyes lit up with amazement. This 500 year old house was a dream come true. The location is in the old town of Arezzo which is a perfect location for day trips around Toscana. Everywhere you want to visit is 1 hour drive or less. “This property is located approx 5km from the beautiful town of Arezzo. There is a bus every hour, daily, from Tregozanno, where the property is actually located, to Arezzo. It is very rustic and in a beautiful setting. So relaxing. And, because it’s not right in town, the best of both worlds. There are no restaurants in Tregozanno but there is a great butcher and deli/mini market. There is also a pharmacy and bar! Maurizio, the owner lives next door and is the loveliest, most helpful human being……
