"We had a wonderful weekend stay at the studio one bed Cabin. The location was 10/10, as we had amazing views of Loch Lomond and it was ideally placed, in the centre of the village, where everything is within short walking distance. The cabin was immaculately clean. Everything was provided for a home from home experience and the host added lots of little extra touches which we really appreciated. We loved that the cabin was pet friendly and that there was a lovely private and enclosed pet safe...

"There was no apparent cooling in the second bedroom nor the sitting room which made sleeping less comfortable. Our bath had a noticeable scum around the sides and clearly had not been cleaned well enough. For that reason we never used the bath. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast good. Plenty of parking."

"Good clean room with plenty of storage space and usual facilities ( tea making/ iron/ hair dryer); nice roomy en-suite and plentiful hot water. Maybe I’m a fussy health freak, but I didn’t enjoy the breakfasts—no fresh fruit, quality juice, or muesli ; the cooked options were unappealing and the bread poor. Pleased to say the spa treatments were excellent with good choices and facilities. The therapists were quietly pleasant and efficient. The staff generally were welcoming and helpful"

"The staff at the hotel was really friendly but if you have issues with lifting luggage it may be a problem getting up the stairs . We were not told when the breakfast was over so when we arrived at 950 am it was over and was only given toast and juice and coffee . We really enjoyed the supper as there was only one other place that was open in the village near by pier which was already booked for the night . The stay was really quite in the hotel which was also another plus but the beds were not the most comfortable which it would help if they had a topper on the mattress ."

"A really impressive building - we’ve passed by before and always hoped to stay here. The building is quirky and has so much going for it… probably several £££ million to bring it up to 4* standards, but the staff were super friendly and the room we were assigned was brilliant and had lovely views over the port. Also accommodated for our dog which was really appreciated. The restaurant served a great dinner too and the Scottish breakfast gave us a cracking start on our onward journey. Thank you !"
