“We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. The view looks like a moving painting. I have never seen so many stars in the sky. We went to bed before 9 and slept till 7 like a baby. We lived the history of……

“This is the 4th time we have stayed at Tigh-na-Camus. It is in a beautiful location and an excellent place to get away from it all and relax. The cottage is very comfortable and has the best sunroom on the front overlooking the water. Will definitely book again.”

“We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌”

“While the facilities provided in the apartment were as stated, the dark location at the rear of the building was disappointing with virtually no outlook. The constant humming from the electronics was particularly annoying to hearing aids. We never used the cooking facilities, so cannot comment. For a 1 week stay this is not a great facility and in our opinion is overpriced.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The beds were extrememly comfortable and we loved hanging out in the living room area watching the storms outside. The view is gorgeous. It was really nice having a washer and dryer and also being able to turn the heater on as needed. The only issue we had was with the kitchen stove. It worked great the first couple days but ran out of propane. After we changed it, it had issues until we left. Hopefully the host will get……

“We have stayed in the area many times but first time stay for the Croft, highly recommended and beautiful very secure garden for our 2 dogs, house very well equipped, the only gripe of it is a gripe is a mirror near a socket would be good for us ladies who need to dry our hair, and maybe a wardrobe to store clothes if there is more than 2 adults but there is a rail with hangers on and drawers so we got by. We would definitely return.”

“Great spot very peaceful,50 ft from the river, surrounding area very tranquil. The mobile home was spotless and the facilities in the home were spot on.Kitchen utensils and cooking facilities were brilliant. Met Karen on the first day,lost the key to the home,Karen had it sorted within 5 minutes lovely lady. Great base for exploring the surrounding area,drove around Loch Ness, followed the Harry Potter train and had a day on the Isle of Skye. Overall had a great trip and would not hesitate to……

“We had a great stay at Woodside (despite not using satnav and initially going to the the wrong Mingary near Kilchoan!) Everything in the property was top notch, our only problem was we couldn't turn the heating off as the weather was much better than we were expecting. Great location.”

“Communication from Karen leading up to our stay was excellent, meaning the caravan was very easy to find. Both in this communication and the handy folder in the caravan meant after a full day travelling and exploring getting there we were able to find somewhere to eat easily. Caravan itself was kitted out with everything we could possibly need. Beds were comfortable ensuring we had a good sleep. Area itself is beautiful with lots to explore.
