An example of one of the lakes is Västra Silen, a well-known sports fishing water. The lake has a good stock of mainly perch and pike. The chance to get salmon and trout is also good if you target your fishing thereafter. Fishing license required. With the canoe you can smoothly slide along the beach. It's an unbeatable way to experience the Värmland nature, sitting in the canoe and feeling the scent of coniferous forests and possibly listening to the euphoric bird quake rising from the foliage.
