Great location on beach but fyi…
Overall my family had a great stay.
pros and cons
Pros- right on beach in central location close to grocery store. Pool was heated Villa looked like pictures but needs updating. Outdoor area is great and all rooms have independent AC which was nice.
Cons- Not a private villa, it is the first floor of a two story house. There is someone living upstairs with a noisy pet bird. Since it is a shared house you can not enter from the street only from the beach which was confusing upon arrival and difficult to transport luggage and groceries. It is 3 bedrooms and a living room It was musty when we arrived and a bit tired, could have been aired out. Shower handle is broken And kept falling when trying to shower so needs to be fixed. There is no welcome book so had to google how to use washer. I did a lot of research when looking for our Lanzarote villa and many reviews talked about hosts charging for surprise extras Iam not sure if it is common place or if there was a true miscommunication but our host left only 2 towels for our family of 6. We reached out immediately and we were told our reservation was for 1 person and we owed an additional $1000 for our “extra people”. We had made a proper reservation on Vrbo and even completed the check in process using host link which required passport info of guests. The host sent a pay sight outside of Vrbo for additional payment. We sent screen shots of reserv and payments and host apologized. Seemed like a money grab and left a bad taste.
