"Great location. Although advertised as a caravan park the advertisement gave the impression that the cabin was little bit more private than it was. We had a van parked outside our living area window so had to have the curtains closed most of the time. Other than that we loved our stay. Not far from Arthur’s Pass and the trekking that we wanted to do. No toiletries or milk supplied as in most accomodation we have stayed in."

"We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right."

"Four of us stayed for one night only (unfortunately) in a lovely family room/apartment, with great facilities, with such a fantastic view, just down a small hill a short distance from the main hotel building, in a longish single-floor block with a few other rooms/apartments. The main building contained the bar/restaurant in which we had a few drinks and a lovely meal in the evening, at what I would deem, extremely reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended!"

"Lovely warm cabin with sufficient kitchen facilities. Good shower. Towels etc replaced as required. Recycling facilities. Shopping was v ltd but we had taken supplies as prewarned. Cabin a little dated but clean and warm with friendly owners. We hope that the motel can be continued with the same ethos. "
