“Wonderful relaxing stay. Well appointed house and responsive and helpful hosts (who promptly responded to a message and dropped off a bit more wood for the fire). We really enjoyed the grounds, birdsong and quiet (no traffic noise) and log burner for the chilly weather. Will recommend to others.”

“The view is beyond belief.. stunning. So is the environment. It was backed up by a level of care and attention to detail that many could learn from. The rooms were warm (important for folk used to a warm climate ). The bed was super comfortable, there were lots of pillows, extra covers.. There was a good coffee machine. Everything worked. There were well written instructions to everything. Would highly recommend.”

“We had a great stay, we were quite comfortable and the apartment had everything we required. The communication with the owner was great with clear pre-entry information given the day prior to check in and prompt answering of enquiries during our stay. The location of the property in town made walking to local shops easy. Our only negative was the noise of the upstairs apartment occupants moving around travelled quite well through the floor. Not a big issue but something to be aware of.”

“Amazing farm stay in a beautiful traditional property which had been lovingly restored and retained so many lovely features. We loved the open fire and wood burning stove which added to the experience. The location was perfect for our journey from Queenstown to Christchurch. The welcome basket full of local products for breakfast/snacks was a lovely surprise and a great touch - we particularly enjoyed the homemade cookies! Thank you for a lovely memorable stay. “We greatly enjoyed our stay in the cottage in the country. It is well appointed for self catering with kitchen facilities that include a full oven and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has a bath with shower over it. There was a stereo, a selection of books to read and a DVD player....this was useful as we had taken some films to watch as television viewing is the Freeview channels. The cottage is in a lovely garden setting and my husband had a good view of the stars at night……

“100m away from the mt somers general store, 2 minutes drive from the stavely store, not far from methven. close to the hakatere conservation park and right next to mt somers walkway. the house was very comfortable and beautifully cosy and equipped.”

“Ash button is a big city. Restaurant and surfer market are nearby by just driving a few minutes or walking 15 minutes from the motel. Staff is nice to give a room tour. And parking is easy in the motel. The only thing needs to pay more attention is the sound insulation. Noise from upstairs and using the toilet or shower inside the room can be clearly hear.”
