Delightful Stay

My family and I were delighted to stay in Camille's mountain retreat. Everything was nice and fresh just like the mountain air. It was the perfect place for an Autumn getaway.

Great house for our purpose

We were here for a wedding at Fields of BlackBerry Cove. It only took us 10 minutes to get to the venue which was nice. Loved Weaverville which was very nice, enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting

We made a last minute decision while my family were over from the UK, after a week at the beach in NC we decided we wanted to show them the mountains The owner managed to accommodate the two nights we wanted and we were not disappointed - great house in a great location very well equipped and laid out!! Great time had by all - big thanks to the owners Dave and family, Morrisville NC

A Spiritual Place

At Greenridge falls I feel the same kind of peace and clarity that I feel while onboard an airplane and flying in the clouds. Still and quiet with little to no distractions. My favorite thing to do was watch the sun rise from the loft in the morning. Shades of yellow and orange above the mountain tops gave me a sense of inner calm. Also pleasing were our trips to Weaverville. We had a delicious Japanese meal at Soba. Tasty, fresh food and friendly service at the Stoney Knob. Cake, coffee and great conversation at the Bakery. Not a single bad experience. Had all that we needed and more at this private yet convenient location. We all just had such a wonderful and special time. The best vacation of my life!!! I plan on returning again.

Beautiful Location!

The location is beautiful looking over the mountains. The house has all of the amenities that you need to use. If you have a big group, I'd bring extra toilet paper because there wasn't that much. The upstairs toilet was also broken. The handle was broken off and then it kept overfilling. We reached out to the host but never heard back. The toilet overfilled, so we had to manually turn off the water. The host never got back to us during our stay, so we were out of a toilet the whole time. The couches have also really been used. They didn't smell very good and were very discolored. The beds were all very comfortable though.

Spacious Place in the Mountains

We stayed at this property for a week during Christmas and had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size for our stay - there were two families with kids and one set of grandparents. Everyone had their own bedroom space and bathroom. The "great room" was a nice size room where everyone convened in the evenings, and the dining room table was large enough for sit down dinners. Something I really appreciated about this property was the extra seating that was stored away for us to bring out into the main room for the kids to sit on. There were also plenty of games, toys and "baby gear" (port-a-crib, high chair, excesaucer, etc). Also, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and spices to cook. The drive to the closest town was 15 minutes away and about 25 minutes to Asheville. Overall a great vacation and perfect space for our family! Warning - the house is definitely a drive up the mountains (very hilly), so if you go during the winter with snow, you will want to make sure you have four-wheel-drive or chains for your tires. We didn't have snow, but I can imagine it being a tricky drive up in the snow if not prepared.

Asheville Family Meetup Weekend

Might be helpful to prep renters that driveway is VERY steep! Home is nice but in need of updating… All mattresses in main floor bedrooms and in downstairs bedroom need replacing. Extremely firm - rock hard. One pillow in twin bedroom needs replacing. Would definitely recommend dehumidifier in basement. Bedroom on that floor feels wet. Check your Internet list of do’s for furnace and air conditioner rules for leaving…. One page says turn air conditioner off. Thankfully we looked at paper on frig. Totally understand need for rules, because of inconsiderate guests. Have never been told to put away clean dishes from dishwasher…just start it before leaving. We all abided by the no shoes in the house rule, since we’re used to that at home. But imagine that is hard for some. Nice deck and furniture there. Good seating in family room.

Family Christmas stay

The home worked very well for my family get together. There was plenty of room, the house was clean and communication with Cam was easy. I wish the game tables had been in a warmer spot - it was cold and damp when we were there so didn’t get to use them.

Mountain retreat

The property was beautiful and the perfect size for our family. However. I should have done more research. It was a little farther away from our activities and the drive was up the mountain was not for the faint of heart. It was a wonderful time!

Nice views and plenty of activities to do!

It’s a great place for a little gateway. Very beautiful views and plenty of games for the kids to play inside in the house and in the garage. The property manager also was very responsive. It is quite steep and narrow road and driveway to the house. We were not impacted but if there was snow or ice, I couldn’t see it how we would have been able to make it. Overall, a great stay and nice place for family vacation!

Fantastic mountain property!

Had a great time in Ashville our first trip. Rented e bikes and had dinner at OMNI resort and went to Mount Mitchell to see beautiful fall color along Blue Ridge Parkway.
