“Such a beautiful location! Like, absolutely gorgeous. Check-in was seamless and easy and we felt like we had everything we needed to have a great stay. The only thing I would say is that the water can be a little off tasting (old pipes will do that) so I would recommend buying some water for yourself beforehand if you’re a water snob like me. Otherwise perfect stay! Would definitely come here again. :)”

“I absolutely fell in love with this property it was so beautiful from the moment we drove up the hill to see this gorgeous house at the top. The yard and garden was a surprise. I wasn’t expecting to have such a peaceful place to stay the pictures don’t even do it justice. I would definitely Want to stay there again when I come to visit family. ”

“This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at 2nd street cottages. The cottage was immaculate and ready for us to move right in. It is convenient to the Shakespeare plays and sugar is very easy to work with. I highly recommend this the second street cottages .Susan Urquhart-Brown”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. The location was perfect. Waking up to deer on the back porch having the lake in the front was the best combo. The cabin was cozy just exactly what was needed for our getaway. One thing I wish it had was a screen door to the back porch. Would have loved fresh air throughout of stay since some windows were broken. All in all would highly recommend and already looking forward to coming back. ”

“Wonderful wish we could have stayed longer! My husband left his crutches at a gas stop on the way and he was kind enough to let us borrow some he had there as soon as we got there. Everything was so clean and beautiful. It was a pleasure and will be coming back! ”

“If I were single I could live here. It's that comfortable. The freestanding apartment is ideally located and finished to a very high standard. Amazingly well designed and laid out. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. Many, many conveniences. Cafe table in garden outside. We parked once and walked everywhere. Lovely host. Really, I can't imagine anyone giving it less than a perfect score. Would definitely stay here again.”

“It is a beautiful property. We stayed in the little trailer, glamp cottage and it was so cute. Also enjoyed the private hot tub provided. We did some wine tasting, a flight of white and a flight of reds and enjoyed their fabulous cork and fork dinner. The location is beautiful. My travelling companion said if she didn’t know better she would think she was in Switzerland.”
