“What a unique place to stay when you're in the "Old South". We had a few good restaurants within walking distance but couldn't go anywhere but the Italian place three minutes up the street.”

“My husband and I spontaneously decided to book a quick weekend getaway. This was my very first time using VRBO, and i saw the cutest cottage available so I immediately booked it. It was only available for 1 night, and we wanted two. Knowing they had other cottages, I messaged the hosts, Stephen and Daisy to see about possible options for a second night. It was then discovered of a booking error. Stephen and Daisy went into action quickly and not only accomodated our second night with some things……

“This was our second stay in the cottage. It is perfect for our one night stays. It is always clean and communication with the owners is always prompt. We were concerned this time because we couldn’t get WiFi when we got there, but a quick message to the owner and we were told hie to get on a hotspot. The bed in their property is incredible!! The shower is also wonderful. It is an older property that has been redone and it has a lot of character. The neighborhood is in a historic area and you can……

“Checking in process was good, they had a great description of what to do when you got to property. No concerns there. I had my family with me on this trip, including a crawling 1 year old. We found the house to be very unclean when we arrived. We found some toenail clippings and some old food bits scattered amongst the floor. Obviously floors had not been swept from the previous guests. The house is older which gives it great character but the small window units that cool the entire……

“First, the owner did not communicate the apartment number of the residence. We had to wait on the street while waiting for a reply. Then, when we went in the residence, the furniture was full of stains, a bed had plastic wrap around the box spring which indicates bed bugs, dirty wash rags and dishes in the sink, hairs on the bed, and list goes on. We left. Ate the cost of the stay and went directly to a hotel.”

“It was a great stay in a nice RV park with extremely easy access to Eagle Lake. I didn’t realize it was a camper (my fault), but it was very nice and peaceful. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and the scenery was fantastic.”

“I'm truly at a loss for words on how to describe our experience with this host. Rude, unprofessional, unorganized, poor communication, etc. 1.The address on VRBO does not match the address of the actual location 2.There are several units that are rented out & little to no clarification on who was to be in what unit. Based on my conversation with our neighbors with whom we ended up mixing up units with, the more expensive unit was in worse condition. They also stated they had never experienced……
