"We were the first booking for the season, so felt like we had a the whole place to ourselves. The property, and our villa, were incredible and the views out to the ocean were amazing. Loved our villa and was perfect size for our family. Appreciated the fresh fruit. Our host was there to greet us and communication throughout our entire stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, and it felt so relaxing to enjoy the sun in the Cretan hillside. Only wished we stayed longer!"

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "

"My stay at Filotimo was wonderful! The check in process was so easy and everything went smoothly after a long day of travels. The building and room itself was perfect. A lot bigger than the photos showed. The amenities were great, especially since I needed to do some work during my stay. The site manager was very helpful and responsive to messages. "King Minos is a beautiful resort. We have just returned from our 2nd visit in 12 months and it is our favourite place to spend our holidays. The resort is stunning and the perfect place to have a relaxing holiday but close enough to the town to explore if you feel the need to. However, for us the staff at King Minos are what makes it exceptional. Nothing is ever too much, they make you feel so welcome and have always taken such good care of us, going above and beyond what would ever be expected of them. They are what makes this resort 5 stars and makes us want to keep going back. "
