Lovely, newly renovated hotel in La Plaka. Great location near all the must sees. Our room had a wrap around balcony. Breakfast every day. Staff couldn't be nicer. Highly recommend for a small hotel experience.

Nice selection at breakfast to include fresh squeezed orange juice and multi choice coffee maker. We had chosen one of the smaller rooms so there was minimal storage space but adequate to get by for a few days. The staff was exceptional!!! They arranged transportation from the port to the hotel and then to the airport when we left with English speaking drivers. The staff was also so helpful in giving us a map and pointing out the best places to see as our stay was short. They also helped us buy tickets on line to facilitate us getting into the Acropolis. Hotel is in walking distance to hundreds of shops and restaurants and the major sights. Highly recommend

Very nice staff, slightly small room but good beds, no desk. Lobby area is great with small food items free and places to work. Wifi was great. Renovated and great showers. Only complaint is that it is quite noisy from being close to the streets, but great to be in the old town.

Retro Athens Hotel was a small boutique hotel with 16 rooms. Hotel was very modern. Shower area was large and separate from toilet. Bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony that overlooked the streets below. Breakfast had a small but tasty selection. There was always cucumber water, coffee, tea and cookies available in the lobby all day. The staff was welcoming, pleasant and helpful. There was a metal gate on the door that was locked for safety. You used your room key for entry. We had a very enjoyable time there. Location was excellent with several restaurants nearby.
