Beautiful 3br 1.5 bath log cabin on 11 acres. Master King Bedroom downstairs, Queen guest bedroom upstairs 3rd bedroom downstairs full size bed. Sleeps up to 6 people. Screened front and back porch, and only 3 minutes from Pipestem Resort State Park. Great place to get away from it all. Cabin is furnished with new updated nice furniture. Roku TVs in living room and both bedrooms. You won't find a better stocked or cleaner cabin in this area. Please read our reviews, thanks.
Cabin is within minutes of two lakes, three rivers, beautiful waterfalls, great fishing, hiking, golf courses, horseback riding, kayaking, zip lines, and nature trails. We're open year-round! We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates.

Quiet Oasis

The cabin was a perfect, quiet oasis. We loved mornings and evenings on the front and back porches. Instructions were easy to follow and having a washer/dryer was just what we needed given our hiking adventures. The site was just as described and the owners are very responsive. We loved our time at the cabin and wish we had a few more days to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is pet friendly, but it is so clean that you would never know that pets were allowed. The house was clean and accommodating. The location was the perfect combination of private but accessible. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for our little family. The cabin was so cute and extremely clean and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the screened in front and back porches with swings. The owner Robert was very kind and attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Getaway

Very comfortable and so charming. Beautiful surroundings that just let you feel so relaxed and at home. The host of the property were nice. They were so helpful with places to go and things to do. Comunication was easy and they responded right away. We loved it!

Athens, WV Cabin

A friend and I stayed here for a short getaway to visit New River Gorge National Park. The cabin was great and watching the deer within a few feet of the porch in the evenings was a bonus. Brush Creek Falls is about 7 miles from the cabin and was my favorite of all the places we visited. Be sure to go to the state parks that are close by if you have time. The hosts were amazing and responded almost immediately to any questions.

The cabin was very nice and exceptionally clean. The host was very gracious and communicated well. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is I was under the impression from the description that it was more private, on a more secluded property with a view.

Very comfortable and rustic. Close to Pipestem State Park which provides lots of activities. Very scenic area. I did have problems with TV but I'm not very good with technology.

Lovely home for hiking vacation

Just as listed. Plus, the kitchen is well stocked with spices and accessories. We like to cook a lot on vacation, and this facilitated that very well. Internet was bizarrely fast given the location. Only caution is the neighbors let dogs roam free, which can be a hazard for your pets or running. But I ran a ten mile radius around this property and discovered people in rural WV just do that, so it’s not unique to this neighborhood. So don’t let that stop you from booking this property in a neighborhood that is ideally placed for access to both Pipestem and New River Gorge.

What I liked: it was super welcoming and cozy. the beds were very comfortable. great updated washer and dryer. close to pipestem state park. groceries accessible. nice hosts. safe neighborhood - not overly secluded. What I didn't like: I really don't have anything negative to say. I would recommend putting a blackout curtain in the guest bedroom upstairs so that it's nice and dark for sleepers who prefer it that way. recommend! if you wanna visit pipestem it's practically in the backyard.
