Nema was recommended to me and it didn’t disappoint! Friendly staff who were so happy to help. Rooms were clean and towels changed daily. It is also so convenient for all the sites and restaurants and shops. I will come back in the future.

We had the junior penthouse suite and while it had a very nice jacuzzi and felt private, it should be noted that since the elevator opens directly into the room you can hear the elevator being used by other ppl day and night and hence our sleep was not peaceful. Breakfast was good and staff very attentive. Room was modern.

Nema is very modern hotel very conveniently located between Monistiraki and Omnia square. Lots of dining options around and direct metro to the Airport. Staff was nice and breakfast buffet was good as well.

Dirty room, unhelpful service

Room looked okay at first, but after we sat on the bed we discovered that the bed sheets were dirty. The sheets had small stains and the pillows had small balls of hair. The entire room and bathroom had hairs on the floors. All of the towels had pubic hair on them and one of them had a pink stain. The toothbrush holder had old toothpaste in it, and the toilet was covered in seemingly urine stains even though the toilet had a "disinfected" label on. The water boiler was also on without water and -very- hot. The water bottles were also stained. We made a complaint to the receptionist, who then asked us what she could do. We told her we would like to have the room re-cleaned, which was not a possibility (disappointing but understandable because it was late). She offered us new towels and bedsheets instead. It was also not possible to change rooms. For clarification, we were only supposed to stay one night at Nema hotel. She said she would make a few phone calls so we agreed we would go to dinner for an hour while she work on the issue. The receptionist called us 3 times, during our dinner demanding an answer to whether we'd change hotel or not, and that we could receive a partial refund (with no clarification of how much) if we "left the room now". We decided to change hotel because the room was filthy to the degree we were uncomfortable to shower or sleep in the bed (which is a must when paying ca. 150€ for one night at a hotel). I would never recommend Nema hotel

Ottimo albergo a Monastiraki, centralissimo

Ottima esperienza! L'albergo è centralissimo, comodo per tutti i luoghi di interesse e alla linea metropolitana che collega sia il Pireo sia l'aeroporto al centro città. Abbiamo alloggiato sia in una spaziosa junior suite la sera prima di imbarcarci al Pireo sia una camera doppia standard la sera prima di ripartire per l'Italia. Consigliamo e ritorneremo!

Brilliant reception staff

Nema was a very pleasant hotel. What made it stand out though was the friendliness of the staff on reception. Stella arranged an early check-in by email and was very responsive; Anastacia was brilliant when we checked in and out, taking us to the room to show us the amenities. Thank you to both of you for brilliant customer service.
