Nikis 20 Suites is a recently renovated apartment in the centre of Athens, 200 metres from Ermou Street-Shopping Area and 300 metres. This sustainable apartment is located 400 metres from National Garden and 700 metres from Syntagma Metro Station. The apartment has family rooms.

All units are fitted with air conditioning, a toaster, a fridge, a kettle, a shower, a hair dryer and a desk. Every unit is fitted with a coffee machine, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while certain rooms are fitted with a balcony and some have city views. At the apartment complex, every unit includes bed linen and towels.

I booked this property because of its location in Plaka, but when we arrived we were given check-in instructions for a completely different property outside the area. We contacted the owner right away and were told the original unit had a plumbing issue, so we were moved to one of their other apartments. Unfortunately, the second property was much lower quality and further away from the main sites. We were offered the option to cancel, but after a 14-hour trip with two children, it wasn’t realistic to start searching for a new place in the Athens heat. The owner mentioned compensation at the time, but despite following up with both Expedia and VRBO, I’ve never heard back. I want future guests to be aware that the property you reserve may not be the one you stay in.
