We will certainly be taking your words seriously to review all that the house offers, we will correct any maintenance issues that need attention. We do wish you had mentioned the sticky floor at check in and had allowed us to come and address the broken bed during your stay. We also wish that you had mentioned any other issues that you are referring to but not specifically mentioning so that we could have corrected anything that needed attention. You mentioned a sticky floor, we strive for perfection at check in and during any stay. If you had mentioned this at check in housekeeping would have come to review and correct any issue you had. The interior and exterior spaces have been deliberately furnished to add character, charm and a little whimsical feel to the house. We know that our guest’s normally enjoy the house and grounds. We feel sad that it was not to your specific taste. I can only guess as to which furniture you are referring to. We have 4 bedrooms each one is different. We have 3 living rooms all with high end furniture. The house is priced according to the location, amenities and size. We have a spacious kitchen again with top of the line appliances. We boats and a lake to fish and play on. The nightly rate you were able to have during your stay was a discounted rate, not the full rate. You reached out to us on day 5 of your 7 day stay and shared the master bedroom bed had broken. You said that your husband had temporarily fixed it and everything was ok. We were not able to examine the bed until the morning of check-out. It would appear that the runner on the right side seemed to have been lifted out of place, the bed of course collapsed. We did not charge you for this. We do feel that this was not the beds issue. The bed had been manipulated manipulated out of its track into a position that was impossible for it to support any weight of the occupant, once the frame had been compromised. We hope that your stay created wonderful memories for your family and friends. Please do reach out and specify what it is that you were referring. This will aid us in seeking out the issues to correct them.

Thank for your thoughts, so glad you enjoyed your stay. This property has been created for guests not our family we do not use this as a family home. Luxury bedding, artwork and a kitchen with everything you could need perhaps had you fooled. Sorry you were confused on that. Sometimes we check in for a few nights or a week for an event. There are no personal belongings anyway to be found in this home. We are always reviewing and refreshing things through out the year.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. It is a location that is hard to leave, the lake is so relaxing to look at or enjoy swimming or boating.

Just wanted to add that Canton Street .8 of a mile walk up a hill. A covered golf cart is available to rent m, which may make that journey perhaps more enjoyable for your group :) We hope you come back soon :)
