“We stayed in mid May, 2024, guests were myself, my wife, and our dog. This cabin was fantastic for our trip to the Keweenaw peninsula. It feels very private, you have tons of space, the property is gorgeous, and it's an easy drive into town for meals in the evening or supplies. The sauna was a particular treat! We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again if we're ever back in the area!”

“Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay.”

“Excellent stay at Northwinds Adventure at the "Love Palace"...Plenty of room for the family to relax and hang out, play games, etc...Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals...wifi worked great...plenty of towels in the bathrooms...fireplace was a bonus, too cold to spend time outside, so I cannot speak to lake/beach amenities, about a 10 minute drive to MTU...overall great stay, would recommend, would stay again. Thank you!”

“We were in town to spend Easter weekend with our freshman MTU student, since he couldn't make the 9 hour trip home... the cabin was perfect; clean, plenty of room, and well stocked with household items. We were able to cook Easter dinner for a small group of MTU students, and we had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and cozy... we especially loved the wood stove, since I am always cold. We were so happy with it, we already booked one of the cabins for next Easter!”

“My husband and I were traveling through the UP and were looking for different places to stay as we made our way to Copper Harbor. The location was beautiful and serene. Full of amenities that we look for when stay somewhere. Clean and comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook our meals. Our stay was only 2 nights and the weather did not cooperate for us to lounge in the yard by the campfire but having access to everything to enjoy the lake was great. Jason and Misty were very……

“Booked this place to propose to my partner and it was amazing! It definitely helped us relax and healed our souls. We miss it. The peacefulness listening to nature and the waves hit was just perfect. We were also able to go out and explore the rest of the UP which was much cooler than I had expected. “In late May, we had the beach to ourselves. The sauna and cold plunge into the Lake will be missed, as are the morning firings of the woodstove in the cabin while reading a great book. Location location location! Worth the additional expense for this humble farmer.”
