Basic amenities to get you started straight after arrival like tea, suggar, milk, bread. Ideally situated in a quiet area with horse paddock right next to the cottage. Underfloor heating was very cozy, modern cooking area.”

“Had previously read the reviews for the hotel and decided to give it a go. On arrival friendly welcoming. Got to room, smelt a bit of smoke. TV the size of a small PC monitor. Outside light on all night lighting up the room even with curtains closed. In the morning no heating until 0645. Tried to have a hot shower, no hot water despite running water for 5 minutes. ”

“Our second stay here, we love it so much! The staff are wonderful and our room (Cowslip) was spacious and a beautiful place to stay, with a lovely big comfy bed and lovely tea and coffee selection (and biscuits!) We had everything we needed. The food downstairs is always excellent and the pub and restaurant have a great, cosy atmosphere. Just a couple of tiny things to improve on - the shower head isn’t great (think possibly just needs a good clean) and an extension lead on the unit by the TV……

“On the positive side, communication was excellent with quick replies via WhatsApp. The bed was very comfortable, the room (Parisian Garette) looked cosy, and the nearby café had friendly staff and nice cakes - pastries cold though. Unfortunately, there were many small issues that negatively affected the stay. The pizzeria, café, and spa are advertised as hotel facilities but are actually separate businesses, which feels misleading. The Wi-Fi was advertised as 25+ Mbps but only reached around……
